Australian BBQ, Want Some ?
Most Australian’s love a good BBQ and now it appears this passion is being disperse round the world by Aussie’s dwelling and employed abroad. The modest BBQ may really be a characterising communal and cooking component of the Australian way of life if our overseas Aussies have any thing to do with it. It appears when a BBQ is discharged up Aussies flock.
This appeared to be the case on Anzac day in New York City when the Magpies’ (an American AFL Team) held their annual Anzac Day event. It attracts numerous Aussies each year and whereas they are there to respect our Anzacs another draw business card had to be an after noon topped up with beer, melodies, young individual Aussies and BBQ’s. Hundreds of expats are lured by the BBQ midday serving of food each year.
But New York isn’t the only worldwide town to get a flavour of the Australian lifestyle. It appears the Aussie BBQ is a seasoned traveler with its most latest journey being to Tarin Kowt in Afghanistan. Our Australian fighters have been missing “Aussie food” so much that BBQ’s were held on a normal basis. But the yearn for the cuisine of dwelling has expanded and the Australian Defense Force has now begun a $2 million design to construct Aussie fashioned food groundwork areas with Aussie Cooks and more Aussie food.
Never underestimate the power of a BBQ. They can convey persons simultaneously in the most unforeseen of places. Next time you’re overseas why not have a BBQ in respect of home. You may be astonished who turns up.
